Issue #3 is Out!

I couldn't be more excited, the new issue of Put it on Paper is on Magcloud. Every issue gets better and better. JenniBelli let me pester her, ahem, I mean, interview her for this issue, and put her art on the cover. It’s awesome. The Star Gardener, aka Teresa Robinson wrote a lovely article about keeping journaling rule free. Valerie Bondola Sununu joined us with a great article on art journaling with kids, giving us some great practical advice on getting kids involved in the art habit.  The pics from her children’s journals are adorable! Eveline gives us some quick art journal ideas for journaling when pressed for time. I write about getting prolific. Jane wraps it all up with an article exploring the idea of using rules to get motivated. At the end of the issue we’ve got our usual Challenge! cards.

This issue is sponsored by the always awesome Jane Davenport! Go check out her awesome website! But first, get your copy of Put it on Paper!

Challenge: Harvest

You don't have to harvest the ideas as they come in. Simply make note of them, harvest them later

Challenge: Detour

Sometimes, the best plans don't work out. Occasionally you'll need to adapt and accept a detour.

Challenge: One Way

This receptacle allows items to go in with ease but getting them out requires a special tool. Inspiration shouldn't work like that. It's a 2 way street. Find a way to send out inspiration.

Challenge: Spiral

You know the phrase "spiraling out of control?" I always thought that was a misnomer, spirals seem to be tightly controlled.

Challenge: Keep it Clean

Do you "Keep it clean?" For once don't.

I'm doing some darker stuff for the month of October, in honor of Halloween.
Happy Halloween!
