  4. My favorite art journaler - wow - that is REALLY tough! I am really attracted to the style of Comfortable Shoes Studio and Chongolio - both seem so free in their creations. They both employ a no-bs way of just getting the art on paper. I rally appreciate that.

  5. My favorite? How about two of my most inspiring examples of {wildly creative, outa-the-box, freestyle} art journaling? Less of Comfortable Shoes Studio and Tammy of DaisyYellow. {Because my enjoyment for Less's sketches led to my own sketches, and her instructional videos gave me lots of inspiration. And because I collage and journal with my junk mail, and I like mini-art, Tammy's creative prompts and ICAD challenges were perfect for me.}

  7. My favorite art journaler? That's a toughie, because I love so many! However, the first person to pop in my head is the fabulous, ever-evolving, ever-loving Samie Kira Harding (aka "Journal Girl").

  8. just one! you could have picked a harder number...I really love Paula Phillips (JournalArtistia) but she is on time out for a bit. Then there is Dede Willingham (Inkiwell), she conisders herself a collageolgist I use her tips & suggestions for Art Journaling & between the two, above, I can end up with some amazing spreads.

  9. I'm a big fan of Caatje and Jellibellie, but I have to agree with Jamie Lynn, I've not met an art journalist that I didn't like.

  11. It is too hard to choose just one so I picked the name that popped up first: Päivi Eerola (yes, I had to check the spelling) of Peony and Parakeet. I love her painted paper technique.

  12. My fav art journaler? Hmmm, there are so many. In the past I've enjoyed Teesha Moore's work, along with Roz Stendahl (very different styles). Lately I've just enjoyed perusing what's on Flickr in the notebookism and moleskinerie groups.
